Cryptic Pawn Shop

An enterprise-grade pawn shop job system with anti-theft design, dual invoice-to-pull workflow, granular permissions, and a tablet-based NUI.

Features

Anti-Theft by Design

Employees never physically handle sold items. After a sale, items are placed at the counter automatically for customer pickup. No employee touching inventory means no employee theft.

Invoice-to-Pull Workflow

Employees create invoices, customers pay, items appear at the counter tray, customers pick up. The pull system is transaction-locked so only sold items can be moved.

Granular Financial Access

Multi-level permissions (Sell, Purchase, Manage, Admin) control who can touch the money. Society funds are protected behind grade-based access with per-employee overrides.

Commission & Payroll

Per-employee commission rates calculated server-side. Weekly payroll periods with full reporting. All financial operations validated and logged.

Tablet-Based NUI

Full management interface with tabbed navigation — invoices, inventory, payroll, boss menu, duty, and pulls. 8 configurable stashes via ox_inventory.

QBCore & QBox Compatible

Runtime framework detection with no hard dependencies. Works today on QBCore, ready for QBox migration tomorrow.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will Cryptic Pawn Shop be available?

We're in final development and testing. Join our Discord to be notified the moment it launches. Early supporters may get access to preview builds.

How does it prevent employee theft?

Employees never physically handle sold items. After a sale is completed, items are placed at the counter tray automatically for customer pickup. The pull system is transaction-locked — employees can only move items that match a completed sale. Combined with granular financial permissions, this eliminates theft vectors.

What framework does it support?

Both QBCore and QBox with automatic runtime detection. No hard dependencies on either framework — it detects what's running and adapts.

How does the invoice-to-pull workflow work?

Employees create invoices for items. Customers receive a notification and pay via cash or bank. After payment, employees pull the sold items to public trays. Customers pick up their purchases from the trays. This two-stage process creates a realistic pawn shop experience while preventing exploits.

Who controls access to the money?

The multi-level permission system (Sell, Purchase, Manage, Admin) controls who can access society funds. Each level has specific capabilities, and per-employee overrides let you fine-tune access. All financial operations are validated server-side and fully logged.
